Decide iPad homepage screen shotSmart shopping service Decide.com, which started off with a focus on consumer electronics before its recent addition of home appliances, is a unique player in the comparison shopping market. The service doesn't just return prices and reviews, it actually tells whether to buy or wait to buy a given product by analyzing market conditions, trends, news, product release history, and more. Today, that same shopping experience has arrived in a handy new format: an iPad app. The company also talked today about its plans to expand to new verticals in the months ahead.

Wicked Lasers Releases Light-Up ?Laser Saber? On Star Wars Day

Have you ever wanted to feel like a real Sith and/or blind your friends? Well buy yourself a massive WickedLaser's laser and the $99 "laser saber" attachment and get ready to buy a guide dog!

This saber screws into any WickedLasers $300 S3 laser (which are, arguably badass) and a special gravity powered plug makes it look like the laser is slowly powering up just like in the movies that WickedLasers is not associating itself with in any way.

GroundLink Car Service Platform Tackles Its Biggest Obstacle Yet: Los Angeles Traffic

LAtraffic-jamYou've heard of GroundLink before. They offer ground transportation with up-front before-you-ride pricing throughout the U.S., and like Uber, you can book everything from your phone. The service basically puts all the control in the hands of the customer. You can book a reservation way in advance, or on-demand if you're in NYC. Plus, you can choose what type of car you want, including hybrid/green vehicles, and watch the driver on a map as your ride approaches. But today, GroundLink is tackling its greatest obstacle yet: Los Angeles traffic. The company is now offering on-demand ground transportation in the most traffic-ridden city in the country.

Burning Love: Yahoo Web Series to Parody The Bachelor

Yahoo will be introducing a web series that parodies The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, with Ben Stiller, Kristen Bell and Malin Akerman among the cast.

Burning Love, which debuts Monday, June 4 on the Yahoo Comedy Channel, depicts an over-the-top, dramatic and hypersexual reality dating show.

Scarily, this is not that much more absurd than the real thing ...

Yahoo’s Bachelor parody will follow fictional fireman Mark Orlando, played by Ken Marino, as the hunk searches for the perfect woman to give it to.

There will be bubble baths, hair extensions, spray-tans, bitter competition and genuinely insane women (one of them homeless) along the way.

Former Bachelor Jake Pavelka, hilariously, even makes a cameo.

Burning Love is totally a must-see. For more scoop on the actual series airing this summer, follow this link for all The Bachelorette spoilers so far.

Bizarre internal Apple video shows Steve Jobs rallying the troops against IBM

Image

We're going to warn you up front: what you're about to see is eccentric, puzzling, and perhaps even disturbing. And undoubtedly, it's the fanboy film to end all fanboy films. According to Network World, who managed to get ahold of an internal 'rally the troops' video, the referenced clip was produced with a $50,000 budget and shown to an international sales force at a 1984 meeting in Hawaii. The film, entitled "1944," was purportedly provided by one-time Apple employee Craig Elliott, now CEO of Pertino Networks. The vintage footage shows then-CEO Steve Jobs as Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and the nine minute film drags on to show Apple-clad soldiers lining up to do battle with IBM -- a massive, massive rival in the space during that era. The full watch can be found in the source link below (embedding was disabled), and again, this will absolutely freak you out. Fair warning.
